Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 12
"Economics Unlocked: Personalized Tutoring" is designed to offer students an engaging, one-on-one learning experience, focused on the principles and applications of economics. The class is aimed at intermediate to advanced students, but can be adjusted to cater to beginners based on individual needs.

The class will cover a wide array of topics, including but not limited to:

-Fundamental Economic Concepts (Scarcity, Supply & Demand, Opportunity Cost)
-Microeconomics (Market Structures, Elasticity, Consumer Behavior)
-Macroeconomics (Fiscal and Monetary Policies, GDP, Unemployment, Inflation)
-International Economics (Trade, Exchange Rates)
-Real-world applications of Economics

Each session will be 45 minutes long, structured to include a brief review of the previous lesson, introduction of new concepts, discussion of real-world applications, problem-solving exercises, and a preview of the next session's topic. I believe in a balanced teaching style, combining direct instruction with an interactive approach to foster deep comprehension and retention.

My teaching method includes a mix of lecture, discussions, and real-world examples, supplemented by slides, video clips, and educational games to maintain student engagement. I encourage active participation and will frequently pause for questions, ensuring each student's doubts are clarified.

Given the personalized nature of this class, there's a lot of scope for learner interaction. Each session will include interactive segments such as discussions and problem-solving exercises where learners can apply the concepts they've learned.

There are no prerequisites to join this class. However, a basic understanding of mathematics will be beneficial. Any required materials, such as textbooks or software, will be communicated prior to the start of the course, ensuring that learners are fully equipped for our economics journey.
