We will take the basic beginner tap steps and put them into fun combinations and routines. This will give plenty of opportunities to practice the tap steps so the sound, technique and skill can be strengthened. We will start with a warm up and review of basic steps. Then, we will learn a fun rhythm routine so students can hear and make rhythms while tapping. Then, we will learn combinations to music so students can dance to a beat in music. Some history of tap will also be shared in between practicing.
Learning Goals
Students will learn fun combinations and routines to enhance their tap dancing technique.
