This class will cover how to spell regular words. Students will be given direct instruction, examples, practice, time to ask questions, and possible time to play a game. Students should have basic phonics reading skills for this spelling class. Days 1-2 Single Consonant Spelling Day 3: Review/Practice Days 4-5: Single Vowel Spelling Day 6: Review/Practice Day 7: Digraphs and Trigraphs Day 8: R controlled and Vowel Combinations Day 9: Final Stable Syllable And Review

Students will be introduced to words and sounds that follow regular spelling guidelines.
