40 minutes of learning and fun! Students will be introduced to the parts of a book. Cover, spine, author, illustrator and text. I will read out-loud the story Yip! Snap! Yap! by Charles Fuge. This story is fun and invites children to make noise along with the canine characters . The author uses catchy rhymes and silly sound effects to get kids involved in the story. Students will be encouraged to make some noise and have fun as we follow the dogs across the pages of this book. After our story concludes we will paint pictures of our favorite character and invent our own rhymes and silly sounds to accompany our paintings.

Supply List
Students will need some paper and fingerpaints. It is advisable to have some water and a hand cloth available for washing little hands before switching colors.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
