US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
This is a Storytime and sharing session with a Farm and Garden theme! It offers the chance to read two books, learn more about farming and gardening, and share stuffed animals or toys together, fostering socialization and communication. This class is geared toward ages 4-6. Students can sit however they feel comfortable; on the floor, in a desk chair, etc.! Snacks are welcome, and learners should come prepared to share with a favorite farm toy or stuffed animal. For the next Farm Week, we'll be reading the enchanting and educational book "Sleep Tight Farm: A Farm Prepares for Winter" by Eugenie Doyle, and the charming, heartwarming story about a horse and his animal friend, "This Way, Charlie," by Caron Levis and Charles Santoso
Learning Goals
I aim for students to learn to enjoy reading! Here, we foster imagination and creativity. We will improve on critical skills for this age group, including information recall, answering questions, and demonstrating knowledge of print book concepts.
