No Live Meetings In this 5 day Flex Stock Market course , students will work together to create and manage a virtual investment portfolio of real world stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Students will be given $100,000 in virtual cash to begin investing / trading stocks. Each student is responsible for researching and evaluating potential investments. Students will make decisions on whether to buy, sell, or hold the stocks, funds, and bonds in the portfolio they have created. How is your class structured? My class is structured to be a stress free, fun, and interactive learning environment to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. How will you teach? I will teach using slide presentation, interactive games and discussion for question and answer sessions. What's your teaching style? I believe that every child learns differently. I do my best to accommodate individual learning styles. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? I teach with guiding the students in discussion, visual aids and hands on activity. Students will have the opportunity to interact and discuss with other classmates with answering the weekly discussion. I will engage students in a classroom discussion question weekly. I will discuss the questions in the classroom. Any required experience or knowledge learners need? No prior knowledge is needed.

This class use Nearpod, YouTube, HTMW and Yahoo Finance, Learners will receive username and password to their virtual stock market simulation trading challenge, where they will practice buy and selling real time stocks with virtual 100K cash.
