Class Experience
Mammals, reptiles, and birds, oh my! We're going to learn about these different groups of animals, what makes them the same and different, and have lots of fun playing games and doing activities together to practice the STEM skills of comparing, contrasting, categorizing, and describing. If you have any realistic-looking animal toys or figurines, bring them with you to class (not required). We'll talk about pets we have, or would like to have. Students will learn about different types of invertebrate animals - mammals, birds, and reptiles - or solidify their understanding of these. They will practice the STEM skills of comparing and contrasting, and categorizing. They will also describe animal traits and characteristics.
