Welcome to the Intro to Minecraft Education! In this fun one-time class, students will learn coding principles by using Minecraft Education Edition. We will go over the game mechanics and teach students how to access the code builder interface. We will start with a simple guided project followed by an independent task to reinforce the concepts learned. No Minecraft experience is required. In this class, we will use an educational game called Minecraft Education Edition. This program allows students to learn the principles of programming through visual blocks. We can use the blocks to create structures like a game developer would do. To use the program, a username a password will be provided during the class. No personal information is required to use this app.
