Description

Class Experience

This class is perfect for children who love Halloween and the treats that go along with it! We will meet once a week for 4 weeks to create some frighteningly fantastic fare. Treats include "Kreepy Kreature Krispie" Treats, Yummy Mummies, Spooky Pumpkin Patch Cups, and  Monster Cookie Mash! There will NOT be any cooking during these sessions. 

Each week the children will assemble their materials and then listen to the directions of what we will make for that session. They will be given the...

Most items can be found at the dollar store and can be used for more than one session.

Week 1 Kreepy Kreature Krispie
-rice Krispie treat(s)                -white frosting
-spoon                                    -candy eyes
-food coloring                         -bowl or cup
-black decorating gel              -butter knife (plastic, if possible)

Week 2 Yummy Mummies
-unfrosted cupcake (or Rice Krispie treat or sugar cookie)               
-knife                                     -spoon
-candy eyes                          -1 sandwich bag
-white frosting                       -child safety scissors

Week 3 Spooky Pumpkin Patch Cup
-chocolate pudding cup         -pumpkin-shaped candy
- 2 Oreo cookies                    -gummy worm
-candy eyes                           -1 sandwich bag
-spoon                                   -bowl

Week 4 Monster Cookie Mash
-3 or 4 plain sugar cookies   -food coloring        -candy corn
-white/vanilla frosting           -spoon
-candy eyes                         -1 mini oreo cookie
-black decorating gel           -plastic knife or craft stick
-3 bowls or cups                  -toothpick

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
