Spanish for Polyglots - Level 2

In this course, students will learn and practice Spanish and English language skills as well as fundamental concepts such as days of the week, months of the year, reading and writing the date, numbers, colors, shapes, counting, number order, letter names and sounds, and rhyming. This class is designed to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience for students, with the use of visual aids such as slides, hand gestures, facial expressions, voice intonation, and body movements. The instructor will incorporate various teaching methods such as chanting, singing, and call and response to help students retain the information effectively.

By the end of this course, students will have a solid foundation in the Spanish and English language with basic concepts. They will have developed strong listening and communication skills and be able to read and write the date, count, and identify colors and shapes in both languages.

At the end of eight weeks of lessons, we will cycle back to the beginning. Students are welcome to join and leave at any time, as there is no previous information needed in order to succeed in the current week’s lesson.
