During my University years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified in. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness. Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.
