No previous knowledge about space is required. We will learn the basics about the solar system, the sun, planets, moons, stars, and space travel. My class is interactive and a blend of discussion, reading, videos, and games. I will be teaching live. My teaching style is warm and friendly. I am engaging and keep the students active during the lesson through discussion and interactive activities online. I will include several short video clips and share interesting facts about the planets and space.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the following topics: the solar system, planets, sun, Earth, Earth's moon, stars, asteroids, comets, NASA, and space exploration! We also will do interactive activities and crafts to help with our understanding of space. We will also learn space vocabulary!Other Details

Hello learners! My name is Miss Kim and I have worked in education for over 17 years. Professionally, I have taught 5th grade and worked as a school counselor for grades K-5 and 6-8.
