Join us for an exciting Self-Paced class where we’ll learn about solar energy! In this session, students will discover the wonders of solar power, explore its environmental benefits, and immerse themselves in a hands-on STEM project creating solar ovens. During our time together, students will: - Learn about solar energy, uncovering its potential as a sustainable and eco-friendly power source. - Investigate whether solar energy is better for the environment compared to conventional energy sources, examining its impact on reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner air and water. - Roll up our sleeves and dive into a hands-on STEM project, where students will construct their very own solar ovens using simple materials (pizza box). - Engage in creative problem-solving as they design, build, and test their solar ovens, harnessing the power of sunlight to cook food without electricity or gas. I understand that schedules can be busy, so I've designed this course to offer the convenience and flexibility you need. This class is all about empowering you to learn at your own pace, whenever it suits you best. Whether you're a curious environmentalist, an aspiring engineer, or simply intrigued by the potential of solar energy, this Self-Paced class promises an enlightening and hands-on experience you won't want to miss! Hope to see you in class soon!

Hello there! 👋 I'm ACE Educator and STAR Educator Ms. Courtney, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be here with you! I have been happily married for 16 years. As a homeschooling mom of three wonderful kids, I've got a full house that includes two furry feline 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ friends and our energetic pup 🐕 . Living in the United States 🇺🇸, teaching is not just a passion for my own children but for other awesome learners like you too!
If you don’t see a time that fits with your schedule, please let me know and I’d be happy to open up another time for your learner if it works out.

Crafting engaging and meaningful lessons is important to me, and I'm here to make learning an adventure. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new places 🧳, whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen 🧁, or tending to my flourishing garden 💐.
I hold a degree👩🎓 in Early Childhood Education and have been immersed in the world of children since I was 18. My journey started as a volunteer at a daycare center and later as a dedicated paraprofessional 👩🏫 for four years, working closely with preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. I've had the privilege of teaching in both public and private school settings. I have been teaching learners online for almost 1 year! I am loving every bit of it.
I'm all about encouraging participation, but I understand that not everyone loves to share—and that's totally okay!
Clear and prompt communication is my promise, and if you have any question, don't hesitate to drop me a message .
Can't wait to have you in class soon! 😄
