Class Experience

This on-going class is designed for students who may be shy, but would love to share their favorite things from the comfort of their home OR for students who enjoy talking with others! I ask that each student have an item ready to share with the teacher and peers (see the weekly list below).

The first couple minutes of the class will be for talking about what we did during the week and for introducing ourselves. Then, your student will have the option to share his/her item(s) by practicing using complete sentences, descriptive words, telling a story or to give myself and the peers clues about the item that was brought to class. Either option is fun! Students who are not sharing should be listening attentively and can even ask their peers questions about the item that was shown. **Whoever shares last, has the option to go first during the next week's class.**

When all our friends have had a chance to share, we will play games. Please note that because every week has a different theme, the length of time for playing games may vary. Some weeks, we take up the whole class with sharing and giving clues. Other weeks, we have plenty of time to play games.
