Face Painting for Beginners: Unleash Your Artistic Potential

What will be taught?
In this comprehensive course, you'll learn the fundamentals of face painting, from basic techniques to creating stunning designs. We'll cover essential skills like brush control, color mixing, and design placement, as well as safety practices and hygiene protocols.

* Note* You do not have to have any experience. Face Painting is an art of it's own and unique to each individual.

We'll cover the topics of Supplies, color theory, blending, face mapping, popular designs, working with different tools other than a brush, safety and cleanliness and business basics.

With the foundation built, your aspiring facepainter will be ready to move on to bigger and more captivating designs, as well as becoming their own business owner. Ready to take on events such as birthday parties, corporate events, or town festivals.

Class structure:
Our course is designed to build your skills progressively. Each session combines theory and hands-on practice. You'll start with simple elements and gradually advance to full-face designs.

Teaching methods:
Video tutorials for at-home review
Homework - at-home practice on the day's lessons at a minimum of 4 times a week.
Since this is a self-paced class I won't be available immediately but I will be available for any questions or feedback within 24 hours of the student reaching out to me. As well as when any media is uploaded for me to review, feedback is also given to the student.

Teaching style:
My approach is interactive and encouraging. I create a supportive environment where creativity flourishes and mistakes are learning opportunities. I balance structured lessons with flexibility to address individual needs and interests. Expect a mix of fun challenges, constructive feedback, and plenty of practice time to help you gain confidence in your face painting skills.
