In this ongoing class we will draw different foods and dishes paying attention to their shapes and how they relate to other shapes. The students will also learn about tones, shadows and reflections. After the drawing is complete they will paint it in watercolor. I will share different techniques such as: working from light to dark, the amount of water to use, softening edges, drying the brush, pressure of the brush, wet on wet, dry brush, using the color pencil and drying between layers. The students get to choose each week what they want to draw and paint.

Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from Florida State University
I will be teaching Fine Art classes; drawing, and painting , fashion design and fashion sketching. I have a BFA in Costume Design, and a Certificate in Fine Art from Mission Renaissance Fine Art School. I have been teaching for 20 years and creating art for 30. My classes will be fun, relaxed and positive, that is the best way to learn any subject. I have lived in 12 states and 2 countries. I look forward to seeing you in my classes!
