Class Experience

Who doesn't love snowmen? Even my favorite song from Frozen starts off with "Do you want to build a snowman?". So, let's take our love for snowmen, and use it to help us learn Spanish! Students will learn Spanish snowman-related vocabulary, and then listen to a fun, comprehensible story ¡en español! The story is about a silly snowman (written by me) who doesn't really like winter. He bundles up against the cold, but doesn't think about what will happen when he puts on too many scarves, hats,...

• Please print out provided handouts prior to class - we will need these for our craft
• scissors, glue, colored pencils/crayons/markers

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Boom Cards

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

we will be using scissors to make a craft, younger students might need assistance/supervision when using scissors
