In this 1-on-1 ongoing course, student will learn about grammar superheroes: subject, predicate, noun, pronouns, verbs, adjective, and adverbs. Student will use the alphabetic principle to write simple to complex sentences.
Class Structure:
*Introduce/Review the alphabetic principle
*Introduce the superhero of the day
*Demonstrate how to use the superhero in a sentence
*Student will WRITE a sentence/story of their choosing with guided help. (A primary writing paper will be provided)
We will begin with simple guided sentences: "_________ walked to the store."
*Student will ILLUSTRATE their story.
*****This class is tailored to meet your learner's writing pace; therefore, more time might be spent on a specific "superhero." *****
****We will continue to review/use all of the "superheroes" that have been learned in previous classes****
