In this one-time class, students will learn the complete lifecycle of a snowflake using a Montessori-inspired approach. They will also learn unique facts about snowflakes and create their own clay snowflake.
Class experience
There are many activities to do in the snow such as sledding, making a snowman, or throwing snowballs! But where exactly does snow come from? In this class, learners will explore the complete lifecycle of a snowflake using a Montessori-inspired approach. We will also play a get to know you game discussing fun activities you can do in the snow. Finally, each learner will create their own clay or play-doh snowflakes using handouts from the teacher. Students will be able to identify the four stages in the lifecycle of a snowflake. They will also complete a fine motor snowflake activity using clay.
