In this one time class we will explore what items will sink and what will float. We will have an ice breaker where students can introduce themselves and tell me what their favorite animal is. Students will be asked what they think their hypothesis (I will define it for them) will be before placing the item in a clear bowl so they can see if they were correct. No previous knowledge is needed for this class.
