A fun interactive one-time American Sign Language class providing little signers with the opportunity to explore and see if it's a suitable match for joining our ongoing sessions. We look forward to welcoming them!

Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
This class is taught in American Sign Language.
Students will learn the following vocabulary in both English and American Sign Language

Our team consists of American Sign Language signers who are proficient in both ASL and English. They have substantial expertise in instructing both hearing and deaf children, holding certifications as teachers and tutors. Collectively, their experience spans more than five decades within the public school system. This remarkable group possesses a deep affection for working with children and is well-equipped to provide top-notch instruction.

Ms.Trina- Hearing CODA-Educational Sign Language Interpreter. With a career spanning over two decades, Ms. Trina boasts extensive experience as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, having closely worked with deaf and hard of hearing students across various school districts.

Ms. Lisa Marie- Deaf Teacher- She is proficient in English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. Her teaching journey of more than 10 years has encompassed roles in teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.

Ms. Denise - Deaf Tutor - Her mastery extends beyond communication forms like speech, lipreading, and sign language. Her patience and kindness have guided numerous students, while her role as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf has left a positive impact.

Mr. Curt - Deaf Teacher -With extensive experience as a Deaf tutor, Mr. Curt has worked with both Deaf and hearing students within a school district for over five years. His commitment to an inclusive and supportive learning environment stems from his deep understanding of Deaf culture and communication, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies.
There will be links to sign language games for students to practice 
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
 We will be using my Zoom shared screen there are no other materials parents need to purchase or sign up for. 
All material and links that are provided later are age and school appropriate.
