**If you're interested in this course, please find a time that works for you using Outschool's auto-scheduling feature.** In this one-on-one course, I will be helping your learner reach their fullest potential with math in a way that works for them. Based on their needs, this can be done in multiple ways. Learners who are currently taking Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, PreCalculus, Calculus, or any equivalent courses are welcome to receive help through private tutoring. This will all be tailored to the student's individual needs and done at their pace. Examples of ways I could help one-on-one: -Reviewing concepts -Homework help -Test prep for math exams in your classes -Giving additional assignments, such as worksheets and Khan Academy exercises

About the external resources:
-Khan Academy is a free resource where students may do some extra math practice and/or watch videos that review key concepts. We may use Khan Academy to do practice exercises during our sessions, or I might suggest your student does practice problems using Khan Academy on their own. Students may choose (with parent permission) to make a free account to track their progress, but this is not required. If students do make an account, I will not need their account information or any private information associated with their account.
-Desmos is a free resource that includes an online scientific calculator, an online graphing calculator, and a Geometry tool. We may end up using Desmos as a calculator if the student doesn't already have a graphing and/or scientific calculator. Also, we may use the Geometry tool to solidify concepts learned in Geometry. Desmos is free and accessible to the general public, and there is no need to make an account or pay a fee in order to use it.
-Whiteboard.fi is a collaborative online whiteboard where I can make a personalized classroom for your student and work on the whiteboard on there. The student will not need to create an account or reveal any private information. They will simply be sent a link to the classroom and be able to join the classroom and write on their own whiteboard by typing in their name.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a passion for math, and it's a dream of mine to teach math at a community college! I have finished prerequisites to start my MS in Mathematics at Portland State University in the fall. Some prerequisites I have already taken include: Discrete Mathematics, Geometry 101, and Precalculus at Study.com; Calculus II and Introduction to Statistics at StraighterLine; Calculus III, Linear Algebra, Methods of Proof, and Abstract Algebra at Westcott Courses; Elementary Differential Equations at University of North Dakota; and Elementary Real Analysis at Netmath in University of Illinois. Additionally, I have tutored students in Algebra and Geometry since the fall of 2021.
