Description
Class Experience
By the end of class, students will be able to describe characteristics of mammals, and draw a specific mammal -- a lion!
Students will need: Blank PIece of White Paper Pen or Pencil for Notetaking Crayons, Colored Pencils, or Markers A Smile! :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
An informal assessment is done at the end of the lesson by revisiting our original predictions and using the lesson vocabulary to check if they were correct. In the event of extra time, a game has been created called "Spot the Mammal," where students will look at two pictures of animals and decide, based on the characteristics, which one is a mammal.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
