In this engaging and hands-on course, students will dive into Roblox game development using Roblox Studio and LUA scripting. Over eight classes, they will explore the fundamentals of game design, learn to craft immersive game worlds, and master the basics of coding. Each class is structured to build on previous knowledge, starting with the basics of Roblox Studio and progressing to advanced game mechanics and scripting. Students will interact through live demonstrations, coding exercises, and collaborative projects. Expect a mix of lectures, live coding sessions, and interactive discussions. Students will also work on creating their own Obby game, applying what they've learned in real-time.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will be given a tutorial of the skill we're reviewing. This will be done with a video and class discussion. Then, they can create and play games along with their classmates on the Roblox platform. Students should have their own username and password. They will be joining a private server along with myself and the others in the classroom.
Supply List
Students will need their own username and password on Roblox. They CAN use two different devices if that's easier. For example, they can join the lesson on a laptop and use a tablet to join the game. If two devices are not available, they can still join from the browser. I will send a link at the beginning of class and assist with the tech.
