Roblox Coding Social Club | Learn Roblox Studio, Lua Script + Game Show and Tell

Do you want to learn more about building & coding games in Roblox and hang out with other Roblox game designers? Each week you will learn a new skill on using Roblox Studio or Lua Script (the Roblox coding language). 

CLASS STRUCTURE 

- Intro to the weekly skill
- Time for practice and to ask questions
- Game Show & Tell
- Social time to talk about games, coding & Roblox game design

- Creating Landscapes, Buildings and Other Structures in Roblox Studio
- How to Code Monster Spawn Spots
- How to Code a Custom Music Player for Your Game
- Publishing Your Game to Roblox + How to Advertise Your Game
- Customizing your Roblox Game Icons

And so much more!

As your teacher, my goal is to make sure you feel confident in each week’s skill and that the class has a lot of time for fun and socializing with other learners. I will make sure you understand each step before moving onto the next. This class is great for both beginners and more experienced Roblox game designers.

If you would like to show off a game you’ve made or what you have worked on during class you will be able to do so by sharing your screen. 

Experience Levels: This class is great for beginners to intermediate, if your child is already pretty advanced they may still enjoy the variety of topics and being able to socialize and show off their games. 

For beginners I would suggest allowing them to play with Roblox Studio a bit before their first class, to begin to become a little more familiar. 

**You will need to have a Roblox account and Roblox Studio downloaded before class begins. Roblox Studio can only be downloaded on Windows or Mac computers, it is not available for tablets or chromebooks.**
