Beginner Level
This course introduces children to the relaxing and creative world of Zentangle line art. This is a club format where we will all sit, watch, and draw in our journals making a beautiful relaxing doodles. Students will explore various line patterns, enhance their fine motor skills, and create a personal Zentangle journal to showcase their progress. These doodles will be taught with a spa like background music and soft voices only when necessary. It will be a watch, follow and peaceful doodle experience. At the end of the class we may showcase out work and previous weeks work if they so choose. We will briefly discuss how to enhance out work from there. Students may follow along with the teacher or create their own doodles.

Learning Needs
This is a relaxation, quite, group activity. For a student that enjoys others company but wants to just relax and sit amongst other working students.
Parental Guidance
This is created to be a zen, spa like relaxation experience while drawing. It is meant to be a quite, relaxing, and peaceful experience, practicing repetitive line doodles to fill the page of a journal. There is little instruction as we go through the class with the attention brought to a new like, pattern, or section. Students are expected to go at their own pace. Because of the repetitive nature of the course they should be able to look at my drawings and see the patterns when they get to them on their paper.
Pre-Requisites
I have a beginner "Learn to Tangle" Course that is recommended but not required. In that class we begin with tiny doodles and learn about line and different patterns. This class we take those basic line drawings and fill the page.
Supply List
Pen & Paper Optional: Colored pencils, markers, journal or sketchbook to build on each week. Best option: Sketchbook and Micron Pens
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
