Class Experience

Does your child like engaging, interactive lessons?  Do you want your child to have a caring teacher that is an experienced, reading specialist with a track record for success?  Has your child struggled with reading or spelling, or shown signs or been diagnosed with dyslexia?  Then this is the perfect class to give your child the help they need!  Please check my credentials in my teacher expertise section.  I will be the only teacher teaching on this account.  

In this ongoing class, I will...

I am a certified dyslexia and reading specialist in Texas and have been teaching elementary aged students for 21 years.  I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Learning and Development and  a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I hold certifications/credentials as a Wilson Certified Dyslexia Practitioner, Reading Specialist, Master Reading Teacher, Gifted and Talented, ESL, and Elementary Generalist.

Your child will need a lined dry erase board w/marker and eraser.  I've linked an example of one here: https://amz.run/5s9q

If there is a delay in getting the dry erase board, please make sure they have paper and pencil for written practice.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
