In this multi-curricular class, students will combine reading, writing, and crafts to enhance their learning! Students will listen to a poem that uses metaphors to describe the different colors of the rainbow, and be guided through a brainstorming session of what each color represents for them! While students decide which color they would like to focus on for their own poem, they will complete a guided craft to make a rainbow sun-catcher. White Tissue paper Colorful tissue paper Glue stick Tape Construction paper Scissors Blank or lined paper for poem Writing utensil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
