Class Experience
In this fun, interactive course, we will use art to explore themes of conflict resolution. Students will be given worksheets that depict conflict resolution themes, techniques, and skills to color, while we discuss them. The act of coloring while reviewing these themes keeps the topics lighthearted and fun, yet engaging and memorable. Our coloring pages will explore different themes, including, emotions, actions, words, and techniques that students can utlize in real life when presented...
- Students will improve their understanding of conflict, and how to manage their communication, actions, and emotions when presented with interpersonal conflict.
I am the owner of Maryland Conflict Resolution. We train students, educators, employers and employees about effective conflict resolution and communication skills. Furthermore, I have a Masters of Education in School Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I create a nurturing and safe environment for students to discuss their ideas and opinions freely, and I have an understanding of the developmental stages children are in, and how to meet them at their level.
Please have crayons, markers or colored pencils available for students. In addtion, please print out worksheets before the start of the course.
