In this Procreate tutorial, students will learn the basics of how to navigate the application by creating a "selfie" drawing from a photo using the application tools. Best for students with some experience using Procreate.
Class experience
Hello students and parents! In this one-time lesson, we will practice sketching digitally by tracing a photo with the Procreate app for iPad. First we'll each take a "selfie" using the Procreate application to take a photo, then we will each follow the contours of our own selfie with an Apple Pencil or other compatible stylus. Students will learn some Procreate basics. Students will learn to effectively use layers and opacity in Procreate. Students will learn to use several brushes (tools) in Procreate, including Studio Pen, HB Pencil, and Round Brush.
Homework Offered
Students may need to finish their "selfie" project outside of class if they cannot finish it during class time.Assessments Offered
