In this ongoing, private tutoring class, the focus will be on English. We will practice writing and editing. The student will write and create fun and meaningful writing pieces such as stories, paragraphs, poems, essays, journal writing, creative writing, etc... We can also work on what the individual child needs help with such as homework. We can cover a multitude of topics! I can also offer cursive handwriting practice to your student during these private tutoring sessions if they...This is an ongoing 1 on 1 tutoring class. I can assist your learner in many areas such as reading comprehension, reading fluency, writing, grammar, and even phonics! I am qualified to teach English k-12.
I have been a teacher for over 24 years. I have taught 2nd-12th graders all subjects! I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and 9-12th grade English. I have a Master's Degree in Education and a minor in English.
