Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this ongoing class, I will meet with your learner to work on different English and Math concepts. I am very experienced in preschool to third grade Math and English. Each class will vary depending on the learner needs. Once you have signed up, I will reach out to you to request information on grade level and specific information about what your student needs. If you are looking for full curriculum, I am able to offer this as well. 1. Greeting, we will say hello. 2. The learner and I will discuss what we will focus on today. I will use interactive slides to provide a variety of examples. 3. The student will be given opportunities to practice the concept using provided slides. I will provide support and assistance as required. 4. Near the end of the class, we will start a worksheet together. Worksheets will be sent every Sunday at 7 pm MST for the upcoming week. If you are not able to print the worksheet, a paper and pencil or the use of a whiteboard is recommended. 5. Goodbye/ Have a great day! See you next time! My teaching philosophy is Teacher Directed but also Student Centered. I strive to provide a comfortable environment to encourage the student to engage and ask questions, thus learning happens! There are several areas that I can assist with (but am not limited to) such as number recognition, addition, subtraction, counting, skip counting, multiplication, division, patterns, grouping, fractions, data, money, clocks, time, spelling, reading and comprehension.
