Class Experience
Welcome! This class is intended for students aged 6 years old and older (beginners and experienced players alike) desiring to pursue playing the piano! This class is structured to meet weekly for 30 minutes. Within each lesson (conducted through Zoom), music literacy and technical proficiency will be explored through content from method books, supplemental material, and enjoyable repertoire! Although each lesson is tailored to students interests/needs, the following are topics central to the lessons I teach: -Posture and Playing Position -Rhythmic Fundamentals and Application -Hand to Hand Coordination and Independence -Notation and Musical Literacy -Scale and Chord Knowledge/Proficiency -Harmony Functionality -Form and Structure of Pieces

Hello! I am William, a certified music educator currently residing and teaching in San Antonio, Texas. I have had experience teaching at both the public school and university level, as well as private lessons. I hold a Master of Music degree in Performance at Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio along with state-certification.
