In this class, students will participate in a warm up, and stretching. They’ll learn 4-7 dance steps and learn a combination to a popular song at the end of the class! Perfect for beginners or kids with dance experience. Attire-wise, come prepared with dance shoes or comfy socks and attire that allows easy movement. No prior dance experience is needed! Perfect for a group of friends!

Parental Guidance
Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore, please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and/or socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and to warm up before class to avoid injury. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged to help your dancer maintain their safety and spacial awareness.
Students may need assistance in muting/un-muting their microphone during this class.

Hi! My name is Miss Emily, and I teach dance to kids of all ages.
I began dancing at a young age, and my love of the art form carried through into a professional career. I danced with companies such as Six Flags, and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" - Disney World!
Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I opened a successful dance studio. There, I train dancers pre-professionally in ballet, tap, jazz, & lyrical. In addition to teaching children, I train other instructors in safe, age-appropriate dance curriculum. I believe every child should have access to quality dance instruction, and I love that Outschool expands that reach.
On Outschool, I love teaching dance in a fun and engaging way to children ages 3-7. I teach themed classes like my "Frozen Friends Ballet Dance Class", and an "Under the Sea Ballet Dance Party", as well as specific ballet classes! I offer one-time, multi-day, ongoing, and flex classes in multiple different themes to suit every young learner!
