Do you love Elsa & Anna? Come dance along to your favorite songs from Frozen II! In this engaging beginner dance class, children will learn a warm up, play dance games, learn real ballet steps, and learn a dance to "Some Things Never Change". We’ll even get to share a little with the group and play some fun games! At the end of class, we'll perform the dance we learned for our grown ups! Come wearing dance shoes or socks, & comfy clothes you can move in (or even your favorite prince or princess outfit!). No former dance training or experience necessary - come to have fun! This class is perfect for your Frozen-obsessed little one, and they're sure to be singing and dancing all week long. *Please note, this is not a class with Elsa as the teacher, and none of the Frozen characters will appear during class. This class is a mix of freestyle dance, structured ballet, movement games, and a fun performance.
Learning Goals
This class will begin with an action game to warm up our bodies. Then we'll stretch to songs from Frozen II! We'll play the freeze game to "Into the Unknown". Students will also learn basic, age-appropriate ballet steps and the appropriate names for each step. We'll play a short game of Frozen trivia, and then learn a dance to "Some Things Never Change" to perform at the end of class. Students will have a chance to share their favorite Frozen character at the beginning of class, and share their favorite part about the class at the end.

Parental Guidance
This class is for 3-7 year olds. Some children on the younger end of the age spectrum may thrive in this class with the assistance of a grown up to help them focus.
Students may need assistance in muting/unmuting their microphone during this class.
Supply List
Dance Shoes or Socks Comfy clothes that they can move in OR their favorite prince or princess costume
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi! My name is Miss Emily, and I teach dance to kids of all ages.
I began dancing at a young age, and my love of the art form carried through into a professional career. I danced with companies such as Six Flags, and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" - Disney World!
Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I opened a successful dance studio. There, I train dancers pre-professionally in ballet, tap, jazz, & lyrical. In addition to teaching children, I train other instructors in safe, age-appropriate dance curriculum. I believe every child should have access to quality dance instruction, and I love that Outschool expands that reach.
On Outschool, I love teaching dance in a fun and engaging way to children ages 3-7. I teach themed classes like my "Frozen Friends Ballet Dance Class", and an "Under the Sea Ballet Dance Party", as well as specific ballet classes! I offer one-time, multi-day, ongoing, and flex classes in multiple different themes to suit every young learner!
