Class Experience
In this 4 week flex-class children will participate in hands-on activities that are Dinosaur and Bug themed. Class learning goals include preschool math, writing, fine motor, cognitive, science, and critical thinking skills. We will have activities that include letter and number focus. This class is to be taken at your own pace. I am available any time to answer questions and offer assistance in any way I can. We will post "show and tell" pictures of the final products for children to share with the group. Printable packets will be accessible before our class starts. Parental Guidance
Items to be aware of due to allergies or classroom safety:
Play dough: some children have a sensitivity or allergy to flour or other ingredients. Please substitute accordingly (homemade clay or dough).
Noodles: some children have a sensitivity or allergy to flour or other ingredients. Please substitute accordingly (Q-tips).
Black Beans: some children have a sensitivity or allergy to beans. Please substitute accordingly (stickers, markers, pebbles, jelly beans).
Cheerios: some children have a sensitivity or allergy to flour, honey, or other ingredients. Please substitute accordingly (other cereal or beads)
Scissors: scissors should be used properly under adult supervision. Improper use of scissors could be dangerous.
Glue: glue should not be consumed and used properly under adult supervision. Improper use of glue could be dangerous.
Stapler: Books made in this class can be stapled together by an adult, or under adult supervision for older children.
Supply List
Printable Packets with a detailed supply list per activity will be provided. Other materials include construction paper, scissors, glue, crayons/markers, playdough, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, cheerios, black beans, straws, clothespins, noodles, notebook/journal (optional, but I recommend a pre-K journal composition book), ziplock bag, paint, plastic bugs or stickers. There are many substitution options available, please reach out to me for suggestions. Most (if not all) items on this list you may already have at home or should be able to purchase at Dollar Tree.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I am Mrs. Andrea and teach all ages. I teach classes that spark children's curiosity, encourage entrepreneurship, and use hands-on activities. I love being a teacher and have been in the early childhood field for almost 20 years. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education Administration. I have a passion to support children and parents through online learning. I own multiple small businesses and love working with all ages from preschool to adults.
