Class Experience
In this 5 day boot camp, students will learn and/or review operations with negative numbers. This is a 7th grade standard. The class is great for 5th graders who would like to do more advanced math, 6th graders who want a head-start on 7th grade math, or 7th and 8th graders that need to review operations with negative numbers before next year. It is very important that students have a solid working knowledge of operations with negative numbers before entering Algebra. Therefore, this class...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to add, subtract, multiply, and divide positive and negative rational numbers.
Students will have one to two pages of practice problems to complete every night.
11 files available upon enrollmentGuided notes, worksheets, and Algebra Tile template (optional) will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will take a short, online pre-assessment and post-assessment to show what they learned throughout the course.
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
