This is a review class where I'll go over major Pre-Algebra - 7th/8th Grade Math topics that was learned in my Full Year Pre-Algebra class. Prerequisites: students should have already completed my Pre-Algebra - 7th/8th Grade Full-Year Ongoing Math Class or be proficient in Pre-Algebra math to get through this review class smoothly. I am a New York state licensed classroom teacher in secondary math and special education. I taught math at a high school in NYC DOE for 5 years before deciding teach on Outschool. Patience and compassion are my strong suits. I will help you if you ask! Having a child "get" a concept gives me joy. My wife and I homeschool our three daughters.
Homework Offered
Optional homework assignments will be posted in the Outschool Classroom once a week. I will post the assignments and the answers keys so you can check your work when you are done with the assignments. Although homework will not be sent in to me for marking, please feel free to message me on Outschool Messages at any time with questions about the optional homework or any topics we cover in class so that you don’t fall behind. The optional homework will be in the form of a PDF. You will need to print it, do the work, and check your answers with the provided answer keys.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Classkick will be used in class so students can work out problems on the screen and only I (the teacher) can see their work. There is no account necessary. To sign on, I will provide a link at the beginning of class and you would click on the link and put students first name and you will be able to log in without any account. To be Coppa Compliant, you will only be able to access Classkick lessons during class time. Once class ends, you will no longer be able to access the lesson. Optional homework assignments will be posted to a shared folder on Google Drive. The homework assignments will be in the form of a PDF. No work will be sent into me. I will post the optional homework answer keys to the Google Drive folder as well as the classwork notes (answers). The link for the Google Drive folder will be a different link each week since this is an ongoing class. I will post it to the Outschool classroom weekly (at the end of the week). Sometimes, we will use Kahoot or Blooket to play games on the topic we are doing in class (if time permits). You will not need to sign up for an account with Kahoot or Blooket.
We will be using Classkick.com website for class. I will also post the optional homework assignments and answer keys to homework and answers to the class work we do in class at the end of the week.
