Inspired by Harry Potter, we will create Hogwarts themed Sculptures using Polymer Clay. Which House of Wizarding do you fit into? Create our Magical Sorting Hats, House Elves, Screaming Mandrake Plants, Golden Snitches & More! Sculpture.

Class experience

This class is taught in English.
Supplies:
Polymer Bake Clay (any brand you prefer. I like to use Sculpey III)
Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, dotting tool (for eye sockets)
A few wooden toothpicks for supports (will be cut)
A cutting tool (clay knife, or anything that you are comfortable with using)
A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works)
A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay.
Variety of colors of polymer clay (Colors I used: Brown, Black, White, Translucent, Pale skin tone, yellow, green, orange or terracotta)
Silver and Gold Polymer Clay OR Acrylic Paint pens

OPTIONAL:
Clear water based gloss glaze for after baking
Eye pins (to turn into charms before baking)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
