In this Ongoing Class, students will start at the very beginning and advance through all aspects of Piano Performance and reading music.
Class experience
Learners will start at the very beginning with learning what the keyboard is and how it is set up. We will learn finger position and hand placement. Learners will learn both the treble and bass clef staff and how it applies to the piano. Rhythm reading will be incorporated as the learner advances. Mrs. Sego has been a music teacher for 26 years. She began as a middle and high school Band director and has continued to grow as an educator and now teaches all ages with a large variety of music curriculum.
Students will need a piano or keyboard, a video set up that will allow Mrs. Sego to see the student and the keyboard and a book. Once we set up lessons, we will decide which book fits your learner best!
