Physics of Galloping Gertie Bridge Collapse. A Bridge Broken by Wind

In this fun and exciting class, learners will enjoy a slideshow presentation as we have a lecture/discussion based class.  No prior knowledge is needed. Learners will be encouraged to ask questions and participate.  My classroom is always fun and comfortable which promotes public speaking skills for the learners, as well as self-confidence and an enthusiasm for learning.  By learning and discussing fun facts about the Galloping Gertie bridge collapse, children will have a greater understanding of the physics behind the failure and how bridges are made.
