Class experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Arrangement of elements in the periodic and what principles are involved in arranging the elements. How can a student identify whether an element is a metal, a nonmetal, or metalloid just by looking at its position in the periodic table. How do atomic radii and atomic sizes of elements increase or decrease as go up or down in a group and across a period and what are the reasons for that. What is ionization energy or ionization potential and how it increases or decrease along a period or down...
Every learner will need to have a copy of the periodic table during the class. Free printable copies of the periodic table are available on the internet.
Every learner will need to bring a printed copy of the periodic table of elements to the class as the same will be referred to so many times during the class.
