In this class we will learn how to paint a wooden peg doll using acrylic paint. We will cover basic acrylic painting skills such as blending, detail work and dabbing When I teach, I lead by example. This means that I paint along with my learners and take them through the creative process step by step. After every step I ask learners if they have any questions. Students will learn how to turn a simple wooden peg into an owl. They will learn to use their imagination, patience, and basic acrylic painting skills.
There is no homework, however I will expect learners to finish the second peg in their own time. We will likely finish one of the 2 pegs together and the learner will have to do finishing touches to the second peg after class is over.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will give written feedback in the learner section of the classroom provided the learner sends me a photo of their peg. I will give feedback based on their paint application, detail work, creativity and over-all outcome.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
