❤️🐴 Do you love horses? Then this class is for you!! 🐴❤️ Come join the fun and learn how to paint this beautiful horse portrait using watercolour. No experience necessary! ✏️ For the first part of class we will draw the horse portrait with pencil and learn techniques such as sketching, proportion, and mapping out shapes. We will then use a bit of coloured pencil to add some shading. For the last part of class we will learn how to layer watercolour and create realistic fur, hair, shadows, as well as adding some fun textures using pooling paint and splatters! We will also learn fun facts about horses along the way! 🎨 Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the class. It will be a warm and inclusive environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Supply List
✏️ 🎨 Supply List: pencil, eraser, coloured pencils, watercolour paint, watercolour paper (approximately 9” x 12”), a medium-sized paintbrush, a small detail brush, a water jar, and tissues/paper towel.
