Older Beginners Piano Course, Learn to Play Chords and Read Notes!

Hello! Welcome to Piano for Older Beginners! In this class we will learn the basics of piano in a fun and exciting way. We will learn left hand chords, C, Dm, G, and F, coupled with treble notes middle C-G. this will be an ongoing class where students will have the option to continue the course at the 8 week mark. This method is unique, we start playing beautiful pieces right at the beginning. This primer is unlike others, listen at the end of the video to hear what your child will be able to accomplish with this course. Students will be required to purchase a book and have a keyboard/piano with at least 48 keys. Students will be expected to play along during the class. Assessments will be sent to parents every 2 weeks, to ensure your child is getting the most out of this course.  Private tutoring will be available if needed. Students will need to practice what they've learned in class to be successful. Ideal practice would be 15 minutes daily, the more they practice the better they will master the skills we learn in this course. This class is meant to be fun, NOT stressful. I will have a MIDI piano set up so students can see exactly what's happening on the piano with a realtime virtual keyboard. I have practice chart attached.
