I love this story with all my heart. Dickens captures humanity in such a way that we can all relate -no matter how young or old we are! I have taught this mini-unit over the years and students love the graphic novel and feel so proud to have read such a classic. 
-Students will read graphic novel  before class meets (61 pages). 
-Create a project showing “Scrooge” journey 
Teacher will provide all materials with exception of final project. Students are not required to purchase materials but depending on student choice, they may ask parents to purchase materials.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Google Classroom
Grades will not be given unless parent requests. However, feedback is always provided to students throughout the learning process.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
