Non-Fiction Writing: A Class for Young Learners

This course combines my 4 most popular writing classes into one writing experience!  Each session, I will read a non-fiction book about a non-fiction topic. We will make a list of 5 things that we learn about the topic, we will review our list and use it to write a story about a non-fiction topic. My job is to coach your learner through organizing their ideas. We will then work through editing and “polishing” the final piece of writing. The course is limited to 6 students to allow learners to share ideas with each other through conversations and to work through writing together. This class is appropriate for English Language Learners and is ideal for students who find writing challenging.
