Does your learner struggle to put words on paper? Maybe they do not enjoy writing, but have a lot to say. In this small group class, we will cover listening, speaking, connecting to a story, sharing thoughts and putting them into a spoken and then written sentence. Learners will listen to a short story and then discuss ideas for a written response and then work together to write a sentence or two about a topic of their choice. I am a licensed PreK-Grade 3 teacher's with a M.S. in Elementary Education. In over 20 years as a teacher, I have had extensive training and experience with Writer's Workshop and coaching young writers. I am passionate about encouraging a love of writing in my students.
