Collaborative Creative Storytelling & Writing for Young Learners
In this 1:1 session, I will guide the learner in creating their very own story. Either, they dictate the story and I type for them. Or, if they're able, we create the story and they write it out.

Beginner Level
In this 1:1 session, I will guide the learner in creating their own story. This story may be fictional or true to life. In the first session, I will help them brainstorm various elements of their story. Story elements include characters, setting, and plot. If we have time, they may begin dictating their story, and I will type it. In the second session, we will review the elements of their story and continue writing it. They will dictate the story, and I will type it. There will be two sessions in one week. In two thirty-minute sessions, we would be able to complete one short story. Sometimes the stories come quickly, and we only need one session. During the second session, we'd create another story together!
Learning Goals
Learners will become more fluent and confident in conversation skills such as active listening and sharing ideas.
Learners will be introduced to story elements including characters, setting, and plot.
Learners will discover how stories are formed from one’s imagination to written form.
Learners will discover that their ideas can become “real” stories on paper, even if they aren't able to write or type yet.
