Join us for a fun and challenging book club where we meet every week to discuss a new book. Every time we meet, I will lead a round-table discussion for each book we read. Every week we will discuss topics ranging from the author's intent to character and plot development. Then we will all share our opinions as we analyze the works. By facilitating the discussion, I will model to the students how to clearly express their thoughts and debate and discuss topics with their peers. Every student...

I am passionate about books and have been running book clubs for homeschoolers for over ten years. I believe that book clubs are a great way to prepare for high school level analysis and also teach students how to articulate their thoughts about what they have read. And I love mysteries and hopefully by the end of this course your student will too!
